The name MuseMusic describes best what drives Mala Sekhri in creating unique musical experiences. Music is the inspiration when thinking of special ways to realise her vision for MuseMusic.
A media professional for over 2.5 decades, she has been at the forefront of the biggest magazine launches in the country including Harpers Bazaar, Business Today , Cosmopolitan amongst many others. Her musical foray includes the conceptualiton of Swarutsav – at India Gate, India’s biggest Music festival . Sureeli Baat, a musical interview programme on Aaj Tak channel , conceptualised and anchored by her included some of the biggest names in Music in the subcontinent. Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Sunidhi Chauhan, KK , Shafqat Ammanat Ali and many others revealed their Musical journeys through the programme. As head of Music and Lifestyle at the India Today Group, Mala conceptualised and produced many musical albums iwht India’s top artists.
As Co-Founder of Musiconcepts, she conceptualised and set up The India Music Summit, - The largest Musical initiative in South Asia.as well as The Musical retreat in the Himalayas .
Now as founder of MuseMusic, the launch of Kinare Dariya, a first of its kind musical cruise on the Ganges, is leading the way to many unique musical initiatives to follow
Her passion for Music and all things music remains at the core of everything she does.
